Rank trackers and search services

Seven rank trackers connect with an API key or token. Google Search Console and Yandex Webmaster connect through a Google or Yandex account and add impressions, clicks and search queries from the search engines themselves. Yandex Wordstat, Keys.so and PR-CY add search demand, domain visibility and technical site checks.

What goes into a client rankings report

An SEO client usually asks three things: did it get better, where exactly, and why. A rank tracker knows the first two answers, but its interface is built for the specialist. Reportkey connects to the tracker through its API and turns the check history into a section of a recurring report: keyword tables with positions on each check date, up and down arrows, colour bands by top position and a chart of the first-page share. The data comes from the service you already use, so there is no need to move the keyword set anywhere.

Yandex and Google rankings in one report

Most Russian-market SEO projects are tracked in both search engines, and regional businesses in several cities too. The report keeps that split: Yandex and Google, Moscow and other regions appear as separate sections instead of one blended average. With SE Ranking, Pixel Tools, SEOWORK and Topvisor, each section is split into group tables so the client sees trends by service or catalogue category; in Arsenkin and Rush Analytics groups work as a filter.

For quick reading each keyword is compared with the start of the period and with the previous check. The first shows the month’s result, the second catches a fresh drop. Above the tables sits the top-10 chart: the share of tracked keywords on the first results page for every date. Management reads the trend from it, and the details are in the rows below.

Which rank tracker to connect

All seven trackers share the same core of positions by date, comparisons and the top-10 chart, but they differ in how they connect and how data is split:

A Reportkey project runs one tracker at a time. If some clients are tracked in one service and others elsewhere, that is fine: each client has a project with its own connection.

SEO reporting next to traffic and ads

Rankings are an intermediate result. Clients care more about whether better positions turn into visits, leads and sales. That is why the SEO section works best in one document with web analytics: visits, goals and conversions from Yandex Metrica and GA4 and, if needed, ad accounts. One call can then cover rankings, organic traffic and the enquiries that came from search.

Search Console and Webmaster: the search engines’ own data

A tracker checks the keyword list you define. The real search picture, meaning which queries bring impressions and clicks, belongs to the search engines. Google Search Console impressions, clicks and queries and Yandex Webmaster search statistics add that picture to the report: impressions, clicks, CTR and average position for the period, plus leading queries and pages. Put them next to tracker positions to show both the keywords you track and the demand the site actually receives.

Search demand, visibility and technical checks

Rankings answer where the site stands, not how many people search or how the site compares with competitors. Three more sources in the group cover that. Phrase demand from Yandex Wordstat shows query counts and their share by month, device and region, plus related queries. Domain visibility and competitors in Keys.so bring keywords in the top 3, 10 and 50, pages in the index and lost keywords. PR-CY site checks add errors and warnings from the technical analysis, the Yandex SQI and the date of the last check.

Regular delivery and white-label SEO reports

An agency needs the report to go out without manual work. The tracker connection is set up once and reused across projects, and the report can go out on a schedule (not on every plan). Plans are on the pricing page. A finished SEO document is in the SEO agency demo report, and other sources are in the integrations catalogue.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can one project use two rank trackers?
No. A Reportkey project has one active rank tracking service, and choosing a new tracker replaces the previous one. If clients are tracked in different services, each client gets a project with its own tracker.
How often are rankings in the report updated?
The report uses the actual check dates from the tracker, and the report settings decide which of them appear in the table. Freshness depends on the tracker's own check schedule: a weekly check means no newer dates in between.
Are there AI insights for rankings?
SE Ranking, Pixel Tools, SEOWORK, Arsenkin and Rush Analytics add a short AI summary of changes to the rankings block. Topvisor and SeoLib show the rankings block as a chart and tables without an AI summary.
Does the client need access to the rank tracker?
No. You connect the tracker key or token, and the client receives a finished report as a link or PDF without opening the tracking tool.
Can I add Google Search Console and Yandex Webmaster data?
Yes. Connect the Google or Yandex account that has rights to the site, then pick the property or site in the project. The report gets impressions, clicks, CTR, average position and leading search queries and pages. These figures come from the search engine, so they will not match a tracker's positions or Metrica visits exactly.
