Web and mobile analytics tools

All three connect through the API of a Yandex or Google account. Google Analytics supports GA4 properties only.

Web analytics report for clients: what goes in

Clients pay for growth, and at the end of the month the first thing they want to see is what happened on the site. Reportkey assembles that report from your analytics tools with no screenshots or hand-built spreadsheets. A typical layout:

  • period totals – users, visits or sessions, pageviews, depth, time on site and bounce rate against the previous period;
  • channels and sources – which channels grew or fell, and which specific sources sent people;
  • conversions – Metrica goal completions or selected GA4 events by day;
  • revenue – total revenue, purchases and average order value when the site sends ecommerce data;
  • top pages, cities and devices – what people read, where they are, and how many arrive on a phone.

Sections get short AI insights, which the specialist can keep or edit.

Website traffic and sources report

A traffic report only helps when it explains the change. Beyond period totals, the report breaks traffic down by channel (search, ads, social, referral, direct) and lists the ten largest sources inside them. A monthly chart separates one-off swings from lasting trends. You can also limit the report to one channel, for example organic traffic only for an SEO client.

Website conversions report

Traffic without results does not convince anyone. In the project you mark the counter goals or property events that count as a result, such as a lead form, a click-to-call or a purchase. The report tracks them by day, adding the conversion rate for Metrica goals, and online stores also get revenue, purchases and average order value.

Yandex Metrica and GA4 in one report

Sites with a Russian audience are usually covered by Yandex Metrica with goals, revenue and search phrases. International and bilingual projects often rely on Google Analytics 4 with events and ecommerce. When a site runs both, they can sit side by side as separate sections. Bounce rates are defined differently in each tool, so the two percentages should not be compared.

Mobile app analytics report for clients

Apps are covered by AppMetrica with installs by partner and in-app revenue. Coverage is focused: the ten largest install sources plus purchase metrics, namely revenue, transactions, average order value and ARPU in roubles. In return, the website and the app share one document, and the client does not need to open two tools.

Monthly analytics report next to ads, calls and SEO

Analytics works best as the link between channels. Reportkey reads Yandex Direct and Google Ads spend through Metrica and GA4; those pages sit under ad platforms in client reports. Data from most call trackers also arrives through the Metrica counter; see call tracking in client reports. Rankings and search visibility come from SEO tools for client reporting.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can Yandex Metrica and GA4 appear in the same report?
Yes. Both connect to one project and show up as separate sections. Do not add their numbers together: the tools count users, sessions and bounces differently, so each tells its own story.
Why does traffic in the report differ from the analytics interface?
Project settings are the usual reason. For Metrica, robots are excluded by default, an attribution model is set, and the base metric can be users, visits or pageviews. Different choices in the interface lead to different numbers.
What if the client has no goals or ecommerce set up?
Conversion and revenue sections only show what the analytics tool receives. Without goals, events or purchase data those blocks stay empty, so switch them off in the template until the site is configured.
How often is the data refreshed?
The report queries the API at every build and includes whatever the analytics tool has already processed. GA4 usually needs around 12 hours to process a day, so give a report for yesterday some margin.
Does this work for a mobile app with no website?
Yes, as long as the app is connected to AppMetrica. The report shows installs by ad partner and purchase metrics; custom events and retention are not included.
