TL;DR

Yandex Market Promotion integration: an API key with promotion access is issued in the partner dashboard and entered once, the store is picked in a project, and boost spend, boosted revenue, the promotion share of sales and ACoS by product and campaign reach the client on schedule.

Yandex Market promotion report for clients

Promotion on Yandex Market works differently from regular advertising. The seller sets a boost rate as a share of the product price, the marketplace lifts the product card in results and charges the fee from orders. There is also shows boost, a display campaign paid for reach. To report to a client, an agency orders boost reports in the partner dashboard, downloads the files and merges them by product. Reportkey does this through the Partner API and assembles a section of a recurring report.

Connecting with a partner dashboard API key

The key is issued in the partner dashboard under Settings, API. Read-only access to promotion is enough, and a key with read access to all methods also works; the business owner can issue it. After the key is entered on the integrations page, Reportkey retrieves the store list and business account, and the client project only needs the right store selected. If the key is revoked, the connection is flagged for re-authorization and the project keeps its blocks.

Sales boost: spend, bonuses and boosted revenue

The consolidated sales boost report is the backbone of the block:

  • Spend charged in money for promotion.
  • Bonuses written off kept separate so ACoS is not distorted.
  • Boosted impressions and clicks showing the attention promotion earned.
  • Boosted ordered items and boosted revenue.
  • ACoS as the cost-to-revenue share calculated by the platform.

Every figure comes with a previous-period comparison, and a daily or weekly split shows when bid changes began to affect results.

How much promotion contributes to product sales

The most useful feature of these reports is that they include both boosted revenue and total revenue per product. The report therefore shows the promotion share: how much of an SKU’s sales came through boost. A small share combined with high ACoS suggests promotion is buying sales that would have happened anyway. A large share with acceptable ACoS means the product depends on promotion and cutting the bid is risky.

Ordered and delivered items appear separately, both boosted and total. The gap explains why revenue for the last days of a period looks low: some orders are still in transit.

Products in promotion and shows boost

The product table lists impressions, clicks, add-to-carts, orders, spend, boosted revenue and ACoS for each SKU, plus the campaigns it belongs to. When the store runs shows boost, a campaign block adds impressions, reach, frequency, clicks, CTR, orders, order value, cost per order, CPM and spend by day. Results depend on the selected attribution, by clicks or by impressions, which the report labels.

Subscription limits and data boundaries

Without a subscription or on Lite, boost reports cover 90 days; on Medium, 400. Sellers operating through Yandex Go do not get these reports. The platform warns that report columns may change, so a missing column means the metric is not shown rather than shown as zero.

Brands on several marketplaces add Ozon Performance ads, Ozon Seller store results and the Wildberries card funnel; external traffic comes from Yandex Direct and Yandex Promo Pages. Use cases

Why teams connect Yandex Market Promotion to Reportkey

Real reporting jobs, typical pain points, and the outcomes teams get from Yandex Market Promotion in client reports.

Pain points
  • The boost report in the Yandex Market partner dashboard is generated as a file, so every week someone orders it, downloads it and merges it by product.
  • The seller sees boost spend but cannot tell which part of a product's revenue came through promotion and which would have sold anyway.
  • Market bonuses are charged alongside money, and a manual spreadsheet sometimes counts them and sometimes forgets, so ACoS jumps between reports.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Short answers about how the integration works in Reportkey today.

Which key does Yandex Market Promotion need?
An API key from the Yandex Market partner dashboard under Settings, API, issued by the business owner with read-only access to promotion or to all methods. Reportkey uses the key to find the stores and business account on its own, so no IDs need to be typed in.
Is boosted revenue the money the seller receives?
No. Yandex Market counts revenue from delivered orders: the value of goods, not profit and not the payout after fees and logistics. Ordered and delivered items are shown separately because days pass between order and delivery and some orders never reach the buyer.
Why is history in the report limited to three months?
History depth depends on the store subscription. Without a subscription or on Lite, boost reports cover the last 90 days; on Medium they cover 400 days. For year-over-year comparisons the store needs the extended subscription or should be connected to Reportkey early.
Why don't orders in the shows boost report match the consolidated report?
The shows boost report credits results by the chosen attribution, by clicks or by impressions, while the consolidated sales boost report follows its own logic. They are different models and the numbers will not line up. Reportkey labels the attribution next to the block.
How often is Yandex Market data refreshed?
Boost reports are generated on demand: Reportkey requests generation, waits for the file and downloads it. Without a subscription the platform allows one generation every two minutes and one report at a time, so stores with a large catalogue take a little longer. That is fine for daily and weekly reporting.
