Telegram channel report: subscribers, reach and top posts
Reportkey takes Telegram channel statistics from TGStat and builds an SMM report for the client: subscriber trend, views, average post reach, engagement, citation index and top posts by day, week or month.
- Channels are added by @username or t.me link, with no token handover.
- Subscribers, views, average post reach and daily reach.
- ERR, citation index, mentions and the period's top posts.

TGStat integration: in a project you only name the channel or chat by @username, t.me link or TGStat ID, while Reportkey uses its own server API key. Subscribers, views, reach, ERR and top posts reach the client as a link or PDF on schedule.
A Telegram channel report for clients
Telegram channels are a real platform for brands, media and experts, yet reporting on them is awkward. Built-in Telegram statistics are visible only to admins and do not export into a tidy document, and screenshots show no trend. SMM specialists usually take numbers from TGStat, the Telegram channel catalogue and analytics service, and move them into a spreadsheet by hand.
Reportkey pulls channel statistics from the TGStat API and builds a section of a recurring SMM report, sent as a link or PDF on schedule with other social networks and ads.
Connecting a channel: @username or t.me link
The client does not issue or share anything. Name the channel or chat by @username, t.me link or TGStat ID. The TGStat API key is a server key: the service forbids passing a personal token to third parties and requires server-side use only, so Reportkey works with its own key. Add the channel on the integrations page and select it in the project. Because TGStat relies on public data, no admin rights are needed for a public channel.
Subscriber growth
The first block covers subscribers. TGStat returns the count at the end of each hour, day, week or month, and Reportkey calculates growth for the period. The chart shows when the channel grew fastest, which is easy to link to posts, paid placements or mentions in other channels.
Telegram post reach and views
The second block covers views and reach:
- period views, the growth in views of all channel posts per day, week or month;
- average post reach, typical views per publication;
- daily reach, views the channel collects per day;
- ad post reach at 12, 24 and 48 hours, the key figure for advertisers.
Period views include older posts that people keep reading, so they nearly always exceed the sum for posts published that month.
Engagement and citations: ERR, ER and citation index
The third block shows how alive the audience is. ERR reflects the share of subscribers who see posts, and ER reflects reactions to publications. The citation index, mentions and forwards show how often other channels quote this one. For media and experts that supports ad sales; for brands it shows content travelling beyond its own audience.
Top posts of the period
The fourth block ranks posts with views, reactions, comments and shares, accumulated up to the build date. Posts from the final days of the period are still gaining reach, so compare with care. The table answers which topics and formats deserve a repeat.
Telegram next to VK and ads
Add VK community statistics, VK Ads campaigns and Telegram referrals to the site from Yandex Metrica to the same report. If the channel funnels people into VK mailings, the Senler report fits too. Why teams connect TGStat to Reportkey
Real reporting jobs, typical pain points, and the outcomes teams get from TGStat in client reports.
- At month end an SMM manager opens the channel card in TGStat and copies subscribers, reach and ERR into a client spreadsheet.
- The month's best posts are found by scrolling the feed and comparing view counts by eye.
- The client's Telegram channel is reported in a separate file, although a VK community and ads ran in the same month.
Each client has a project with its channel. The monthly report shows subscriber growth, views and average post reach, and the top posts table suggests which formats to repeat next month.
Advertisers ask about ad post reach and engagement. The block shows ad post reach at 12, 24 and 48 hours, ERR and citation index, so the media kit refreshes itself every month.
The marketer reports on all social channels at once: the Telegram channel from TGStat and the VK community share one document, with the same periods and consistent metric labels.
How TGStat appears inside the report
The report keeps the familiar Reportkey layout: source sections and period comparison.

A line chart of end-of-day subscribers with view bars, tiles for average post reach, ERR and citation index, and a table of the top five posts with views, reactions, comments and shares.
Three steps to the first report
Connect the account once, choose the reporting scope, and save the setup for recurring client reports.
