Senler report: the VK subscription funnel
Reportkey pulls Senler statistics and shows the client the subscription funnel of a VK community: how many people subscribed and left, net growth, which subscriber groups and UTM tags brought them and how many broadcast messages went out.
- The Senler key and community ID are entered once, one key per community.
- Subscriptions, unsubscriptions and net growth by day, week or month.
- Sources by UTM tag and subscriber group, plus broadcast sends.

Senler integration: enter the API key from Settings, API access and the community ID once on the integrations page, pick the community in a project, and subscriptions, unsubscriptions, UTM sources and broadcasts sent reach the client in a recurring report.
VK mailing reports from Senler
Senler is a mailing service for VK communities. Businesses use it to collect subscribers into groups, run automated funnels and send messages straight to users’ inboxes. For targeting and SMM specialists, Senler is where advertising turns into a subscriber base. The client wants to know how many people subscribed, how many left and which sources work.
Reportkey connects to the Senler API and builds a section of a recurring report from those statistics, sent as a link or PDF on schedule next to ads and community statistics.
Connecting Senler: API key and community
Create the key in the Senler dashboard under Settings, API access. One key maps to one channel, meaning one community. A client with several communities needs a key for each, up to twenty in total. Enter the key with the community ID once on the Reportkey integrations page, then choose the community in a project. The key allows twenty requests per second, and Reportkey paces requests so a month of daily data is collected without errors.
Subscriptions, unsubscriptions and net growth
The main block is the subscription trend:
- subscriptions to the community’s mailings in the period;
- unsubscriptions in the same period;
- net growth, the difference, calculated by Reportkey.
Senler returns these as a single aggregate per requested period, so Reportkey requests each day separately for the daily chart and uses one request for weekly or monthly totals.
Subscriber groups
Senler gathers subscribers into groups for a lead magnet, webinar, course or promotion. The group block shows subscriptions and unsubscriptions for each. For an online school it reveals which free product attracts the audience best; for a store, which promotion pulled people in and where unsubscriptions followed.
Senler UTM tag statistics
The block targeting specialists value most shows subscription sources by tag. Senler lets you mark subscription links with its own tags and standard parameters such as utm_source and utm_campaign. The report shows subscriptions and unsubscriptions per tag, and with VK Ads spend next to it the client sees what a subscriber from each ad costs.
Broadcasts sent
The last block counts messages sent in the period, overall and per broadcast. The Senler API provides only the sent count, without opens or clicks, so site visits from broadcasts are better shown through UTM-tagged links in Yandex Metrica.
Reading Senler data
Senler subscriptions are mailing subscriptions, not community joins, so they need not match VK membership. Keys are tied to one community, which means an agency handling several communities for a client sets up a key for each.
Senler next to VK and ads
Pair the funnel with traffic sources: VK Ads campaigns that lead to the subscription, VK community statistics and broadcast visits in Yandex Metrica. Why teams connect Senler to Reportkey
Real reporting jobs, typical pain points, and the outcomes teams get from Senler in client reports.
- A targeting specialist runs VK ads to a mailing subscription and checks Senler one tag at a time to see what each campaign delivered.
- The client sees subscriber growth but not unsubscriptions, and nobody calculates net growth.
- Subscriber group statistics are copied into a sheet by hand before every call.
VK Ads creatives lead to a subscription with different UTM tags. The source block shows subscriptions and unsubscriptions per tag, and campaign spend sits in the same report, so cost per subscriber is visible without manual joins.
The school gathers people into several subscriber groups: a free lesson, a webinar, a challenge. The report shows which group grows, where unsubscriptions pile up and how many messages went out that week.
The client has two communities, each with its own Senler key. One project holds both blocks, and the client compares which community builds its subscriber base better.
How Senler appears inside the report
The report keeps the familiar Reportkey layout: source sections and period comparison.

Daily bars for subscriptions and unsubscriptions with a net growth line, a subscriber group table, a UTM tag table with subscriptions, and a broadcast list with messages sent.
Three steps to the first report
Connect the account once, choose the reporting scope, and save the setup for recurring client reports.
