NotiSend report: list health and campaign results

Reportkey reads NotiSend campaign statistics through the API and shows the client how healthy the mailing list is: emails that bounced, people who unsubscribed or hit the spam button, and which campaigns were sent, paused or still waiting.

TL;DR

NotiSend integration: add the key from Automation, API and SMTP to Reportkey once, choose the account in a project, and a scheduled report shows bounces, complaints, unsubscribes and campaign states, the signals that tell you when to clean the list.

NotiSend statistics as an early warning for your list

Email has a part the client never sees: sender reputation. While messages arrive, nobody thinks about it. Once bounced addresses and complaints pile up, mailbox providers start filtering to spam and opens fall across every campaign at once. The Reportkey NotiSend report is built around those early signals. It shows who clicked, but also how many emails bounced and how many people complained or left, per campaign and over time.

It suits whoever owns deliverability: an email specialist, a head of marketing, or an agency that has run a client’s newsletters for years.

Connecting NotiSend

The key lives in the NotiSend dashboard under Automation, API and SMTP. Add it on the Reportkey integrations page, then pick the account in a project and enable the email block. If a client runs separate NotiSend accounts, say one for notifications and one for news, each gets its own key and the project uses whichever list you need to watch. Reportkey reads campaigns and metrics only; it sends nothing and changes no lists or templates.

Bounces, complaints, unsubscribes: three cleaning signals

From NotiSend campaign statistics the report takes the fields that describe list quality:

  • Bounced: addresses that returned an error; a rising share means dead or full mailboxes are accumulating;
  • Spam complaints: people who pressed the spam button, the metric providers watch most closely;
  • Unsubscribes: subscribers who left on their own; a spike after one campaign points to topic or frequency;
  • Delivering: messages still in transit; many of them on report day means the result is not final.

Each metric is a share of the campaign’s delivered email, so a small fresh segment and a large old list compare on equal terms.

NotiSend opens and clicks in context

List hygiene explains engagement rather than replacing it. Next to bounces the report shows unique opens and clicks, open rate, CTR and CTOR by campaign. When open rate drops while complaints rise, the list is the likely cause. When complaints are flat but clicks fall, the conversation moves to content.

Campaign states and the work behind a month

Because NotiSend returns each campaign’s state, the report doubles as a work log. The client sees eight emails prepared this month: six completed, one delayed until the sale, one stopped over a broken link. Without states those campaigns simply drop out of the table.

Reading cumulative numbers

Campaign statistics keep moving after the send. The report records values at build time, so recent campaigns are still growing. It covers campaign results rather than every email event in a calendar month, and recipients of different campaigns are not added into a count of distinct people.

NotiSend with the website and other channels

To show what email brings in, pair NotiSend with Yandex Metrica, Google Analytics 4 or Roistat for orders and revenue. For a different format, the Mailopost report ranks emails by CTOR. Branding, AI insights and automatic delivery are not on every plan. See the freelancer demo report, other providers among the email marketing integrations, and pricing.

Use cases

Why teams connect NotiSend to Reportkey

Real reporting jobs, typical pain points, and the outcomes teams get from NotiSend in client reports.

Pain points
  • List problems surface only when mailbox providers start routing email to spam, not a month earlier when bounces began to climb.
  • The client does not see why list cleaning is worth paying for, because complaint and bounce rates never appeared in any report.
  • Paused and cancelled campaigns vanish from reporting, and nobody remembers why last Tuesday's newsletter never went out.
NotiSend
A service business with a monthly newsletter

The list has grown for years and many addresses are long dead. Every month the NotiSend block shows the bounce and complaint share, and the cleaning decision is made on numbers instead of after the sender gets blocked.

NotiSend
An email specialist responsible for deliverability

For this role CTR matters less than whether email arrives at all. Campaign states and bounce rates become a monthly list-hygiene report that a non-specialist manager can read.

NotiSend
An agency reporting on work done

The table includes campaigns in every state: completed, scheduled, delayed and stopped. The client sees results and the full volume of emails prepared during the period.

How to connect

Three steps to the first report

Connect the account once, choose the reporting scope, and save the setup for recurring client reports.

01
Connect the account
Save the NotiSend connection once so the same datasource can be reused across recurring client reports.
02
Choose the reporting scope
Choose the NotiSend account and mailings that should supply delivery, opens, and clicks to the report.
03
Save the setup and generate the report
Keep the selected scope in the project and reuse the same report setup next time instead of connecting the source again.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Short answers about how the integration works in Reportkey today.

What access does the NotiSend connection need?
An API key from the NotiSend dashboard under Automation, API and SMTP, connection settings. Add it on the Reportkey integrations page and pick the account in the project. Reportkey only reads campaigns and statistics and never sends email with that key.
Which campaign states appear in the report?
NotiSend returns a state for each campaign: draft, pending, delayed, sending, canceled, stopped, completed or archived. The state sits next to the numbers, so a campaign with zero deliveries is clearly cancelled or not started yet.
Why is the complaint rate higher than the dashboard suggested?
Reportkey expresses complaints and bounces as a share of delivered email for each campaign. Ten complaints look trivial as a count but are significant for a small segment. Mailbox providers judge senders by rates, which is why the report puts rates first.
An old campaign's numbers grew since the last report. Is that a bug?
No. NotiSend keeps crediting late opens, clicks and complaints to a campaign after it is sent, so the statistics are cumulative. Each report captures values at build time, and late events catch up in the next one.
Does NotiSend return sales from email?
No. Campaign statistics contain no orders or revenue. Add Yandex Metrica, Google Analytics 4 or Roistat and connect visits through UTM tags in links.
How fresh is the data?
Statistics are requested every time the report is built on the project schedule. For a weekly list check that is enough; after a large send, schedule the issue two or three days later, once most events have been counted.
