Mindbox report: mailings, orders and revenue

Reportkey exports the Mindbox mailing summary and mailing trend reports and turns them into a client report section: deliveries, unique opens and clicks, orders, attributed revenue and revenue per recipient by channel, category and individual mailing.

Sign up, enter the Mindbox endpoint, key and export operation, then pick the project. Your first report in 5 minutes.
  • Endpoint, key and export operation are entered once and reused across projects.
  • Orders, revenue and revenue per recipient by channel, category and mailing.
  • CRM marketing shares one report with ads and Metrica, plus AI insights and branding (not on every plan).

TL;DR

Mindbox integration: create a report export operation in your Mindbox project, enter its system name with the endpoint ID and secret key in Reportkey once, and CRM marketing results from deliveries to revenue reach the client on schedule as a link or PDF.

A Mindbox report for management and clients

Mindbox is a marketing automation platform for large retail, chains and e-commerce: loyalty programmes, a single customer profile and flows across several channels. Its big advantage for reporting is revenue. Mindbox links orders to messages, so a CRM team can show money, not just open rates. Getting those numbers into a readable form is harder: the interface has many breakdowns, exports arrive as files, and management wants one page. Reportkey triggers the export through the Mindbox API, parses the file and builds a recurring report section from it.

Connecting Mindbox: endpoint and export operation

In Mindbox, report access is granted through an operation rather than an account key. A user with report export rights creates an export operation in the project and chooses what it returns: the mailing summary or the mailing trend report grouped by day, week or month. Reportkey needs the operation’s system name, the endpoint ID and the secret key. The attribution goal is optional; without it Mindbox uses the default goal.

The values are entered on the integrations page and saved as a shared connection. An agency adds one connection per Mindbox project and selects it in the client project. The operation only reads reports and never touches customer data. If the key is revoked, the connection is flagged for re-authorisation while report settings remain.

Mindbox email revenue: how it is attributed

For each mailing the summary contains conversions, conversion revenue, average order value and revenue per recipient, using last-click attribution under the selected goal. The trend report adds orders and revenue placed within each day, week or month, excluding cancellations.

So the summary answers how much this period’s mailings earned, while the trend answers how many CRM-assisted orders fell into this month. The first suits campaign evaluation, the second suits comparison with overall turnover. Both are labelled in the report so nobody adds them together.

Mindbox analytics by channel and category

Every export row carries a channel and a category: mass, triggered or transactional. That produces a block most manual reports skip:

  • Delivered, opened, clicked — unique counts per channel.
  • Conversions and revenue — orders and money attributed to the channel’s messages.
  • Revenue per recipient — a fair way to compare a low-open channel with a high-open one.
  • Category — how automated flows perform against one-off promotions.

For many brands the share of automated flows becomes the headline number, because it shows what works without daily effort.

Top mailings and list health

The leaders table ranks mailings by revenue with name, subject, launch date, tags, brand, order conversion, CTOR and unsubscribes. Tags and brand separate results when several product lines share one project. A list health block uses the trend report to show bounce, spam and unsubscribe rates by channel and month.

CRM marketing report next to ads and the website

Add Yandex Metrica visits and goals, Yandex Direct campaigns and Roistat end-to-end analytics when it owns cross-channel revenue. Compare platforms with multichannel Altcraft reports and browse the email integrations page. The in-house marketer demo report shows a finished document, and pricing covers plans and the trial.

Use cases

Why teams connect Mindbox to Reportkey

Real reporting jobs, typical pain points, and the outcomes teams get from Mindbox in client reports.

Pain points
  • Once a month the CRM marketer exports the Mindbox summary to a spreadsheet, trims the columns and splits revenue by channel by hand for management.
  • The finance director sees one revenue figure in the deck and another in Mindbox, and the difference between the two report types is explained again every time.
  • Triggered flows, mass promotions and transactional email sit in one export, so the contribution of automation disappears behind large campaigns.
Mindbox
A retail chain with its own CRM team

Mindbox runs the loyalty programme and multichannel messaging. The head of marketing receives a monthly document with attributed revenue split by email, SMS and push, the share of automated flows and the top mailings, next to website traffic and ad spend.

Mindbox
A CRM marketing agency

The agency builds flows in the client's Mindbox and is judged on money. Each client has a project with a separate endpoint, and the branded report shows how many orders the launched flows produced.

Mindbox
An online retailer with several brands

Mailings are tagged by brand inside one Mindbox project. The report groups results by brand, so each team sees its own revenue and trend without a shared spreadsheet.

02
Choose the reporting scope
Choose the Mindbox account and mailings that should supply delivery, opens, and clicks to the report.
03
Save the setup and generate the report
Keep the selected scope in the project and reuse the same report setup next time instead of connecting the source again.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Short answers about how the integration works in Reportkey today.

What do I need to connect Mindbox to Reportkey?
Three values from your Mindbox project: the endpoint ID, the secret key and the system name of a report export operation. A user with report export rights creates that operation. Optionally add the attribution goal ID used for revenue. Enter the values once on the integrations page and pick the Mindbox project in any Reportkey project.
Why does revenue differ between two report blocks?
Mindbox calculates it differently in the two exports. The summary ties revenue to messages sent in the period on a last-click basis, even if the order came later. The trend report counts orders placed inside the period and excludes cancelled ones. Both are correct; they answer different questions.
Will Mindbox revenue match the store's total revenue?
No, and it should not. Mindbox only reports orders attributed to its messages under the chosen goal, not the whole store turnover. Compare it with the CRM channel's expected share, not with the accounting total.
How fresh is the Mindbox data?
Reportkey starts an export when the report is built and waits for the file, so figures are current as of that moment. Mindbox allows at most two exports at a time, and large projects take a few minutes. Dates follow the Mindbox project time zone.
Which channels appear in the report?
Every channel Mindbox includes in mailing reports: email, SMS, mobile push, web push and Viber. Each channel can be its own row, with mass, triggered and transactional messages split inside it.
Are Mindbox opens unique or total?
The export carries unique opens and clicks, so a recipient who opened an email three times counts once. Open rates may look lower than in tools that count every open.
