enKod report: CRM marketing and subscriber growth

Reportkey reads enKod statistics through the API and splits a client's CRM marketing by message type: one-off campaigns, recurring emails and automation flows, each with tags, segments and UTM parameters, next to subscriber growth for every mailing group.

TL;DR

enKod integration: add an API key with statistics permissions to Reportkey once, choose the account in a project, and the client receives results by message type, a top-message ranking with tags and UTM values, and subscriber growth per mailing group on schedule.

enKod report for clients

enKod is a CRM marketing platform, and for brands using it email is rarely just a weekly promotion. Flows react to site events, digests go out on a schedule, double opt-in confirmations and store-triggered API messages run constantly. The platform shows all of it, but a manager or client needs a different cut: how much automation contributes, which themes work, whether the list is growing. Reportkey reads enKod statistics through the API and turns them into a recurring report section delivered as a link or PDF.

Connecting enKod

You need an enKod API key, created in the platform or, for some accounts, by the account manager. Key permissions limit which methods respond, so make sure statistics access is granted. Add the key on the Reportkey integrations page and select it in any project. Reportkey only reads statistics and subscriber data; it never starts flows or edits the list.

enKod statistics by message type

The enKod summary groups statistics by message and returns type, subject, tags, segments, UTM parameters, delivery and last send dates, plus sent, not sent, delivered, failures, opens and unique opens, clicks, unique clicks, unique clickers, complaints and unsubscribes.

The first block totals these by type. One-off campaigns, automated emails and flows sit on separate rows, so the client may see, for example, that flows deliver fewer emails but earn more clicks per email, a stronger case for automation than any general argument.

Top messages with tags and UTM values

The second block ranks messages for the period. Tags, segment and utm_campaign appear next to the subject, and open rate, CTR and unique clickers are calculated from the counters. Comparing unique clicks with unique clickers is useful: many clicks per clicker means a product roundup is being studied closely. UTM values in the same row let you find that email’s visits in web analytics without asking the CRM team.

Subscriber growth per mailing group

The enKod subscriber statistics method returns, for each mailing group, current subscribers, new signups, unsubscribes and growth for the period. For an agency running signup forms and list-building ads, this is the main result metric. For a brand it is an early warning: when unsubscribes catch up with signups, reach across every campaign shrinks a couple of months later.

enKod data caveats

Long intervals are collected in parts. Flow and recurring emails carry a last send date instead of one send date. Available blocks depend on API key permissions, and the documentation does not state the time zone of dates. enKod counts SMTP gateway mail separately, and the report keeps that stream apart from marketing messages.

enKod with analytics and other channels

For money, pair enKod with Yandex Metrica goals and e-commerce, Google Analytics 4 or Roistat. Choosing between CRM marketing platforms? Compare with the Mindbox report. AI insights and branding are not on every plan. See the in-house team demo report, all email marketing integrations and pricing.

Use cases

Why teams connect enKod to Reportkey

Real reporting jobs, typical pain points, and the outcomes teams get from enKod in client reports.

Pain points
  • Management sees total email volume but cannot separate automation flows from one-off promotions or tell whether the automation setup pays off.
  • Campaigns are carefully tagged and UTM-labelled, yet the client report drops those fields and the link to ad activity is lost.
  • A stalled subscriber base is noticed only when revenue dips, although growth per mailing group could have been watched every week.
enKod
A retail brand with mature CRM marketing

Dozens of enKod flows run from welcome to win-back. The report shows what share of deliveries and clicks comes from flows versus planned campaigns, and how that split changes month to month.

enKod
A team that plans email by tag

Each campaign carries tags such as season, new arrivals or loyalty. In the top-message ranking the tags sit next to open rate and CTR, so the discussion is about themes that work rather than single emails.

enKod
An agency accountable for list growth

The agency runs signup forms on the site and in ads. The growth block shows, for every mailing group, subscribers at the start, new signups, unsubscribes and net growth for the period.

How to connect

Three steps to the first report

Connect the account once, choose the reporting scope, and save the setup for recurring client reports.

01
Connect the account
Save the enKod connection once so the same datasource can be reused across recurring client reports.
02
Choose the reporting scope
Choose the enKod account and mailings that should supply delivery, opens, and clicks to the report.
03
Save the setup and generate the report
Keep the selected scope in the project and reuse the same report setup next time instead of connecting the source again.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Short answers about how the integration works in Reportkey today.

Which key does the enKod connection need?
An enKod API key created in the platform interface or through your account manager. The key must be allowed to call statistics methods; otherwise enKod returns an access error and the block stays empty. Enter the key once on the Reportkey integrations page and select it in a project.
Which message types does the report distinguish?
enKod labels every message as send-now, planned, regular, API, event, double opt-in or scenario. The report groups them into three classes a client understands, one-off, automated and flows, while the original type stays visible in the message table.
What date does an automation flow email show?
Flow and recurring messages have no single send date because they go out daily. enKod provides the last send date and the table shows that, while the metrics themselves cover the selected report period.
Why does a yearly report take longer to build?
The enKod summary method may fail on a very long interval in one request. Reportkey splits the period into parts and adds them up, so a yearly build takes longer but matches the sum of its months.
Does enKod return orders and revenue?
enKod statistics cover email metrics and subscriber data, not orders or money. For revenue, add web analytics or Roistat; enKod UTM values help match site visits to specific emails.
How often are the numbers refreshed?
Each scheduled build requests statistics for the period again. Late opens and clicks on sent emails show up in the next issue, and subscriber counts are taken on the build date.
