TL;DR

Avito Ads integration: the Client Key, Client Secret and ad account ID from the account settings are entered once, the account is picked in a project, and spend, reach, clicks and creative performance reach the client in a recurring link or PDF report.

Avito Ads report for clients

Avito Ads is the advertising dashboard where brands and agencies buy display and video placements on the platform: in the feed, in search and on listing pages of selected categories. It is a media tool with budgets, flights and creatives, and it is reported like any other display channel: spend, reach, clicks, CTR, CPM. Reportkey pulls these statistics through the Avito Ads API and assembles a section of a recurring report next to the client’s other advertising.

Avito Ads versus Avito Pro

Avito has two separate data sources. Avito Pro describes seller listings: views, contacts, favorites and listing promotion spend. Avito Ads is the dashboard for display and video campaigns, with no listings or contacts but with impressions, clicks and creatives. They use different keys and report blocks. A client using both gets two sections: listings and display.

Connecting with an API key and account ID

The key is created by a user with the Administrator role in the Avito Ads account settings under API. Avito issues a Client Key and Client Secret pair, and the secret is shown once. There is no read-only key; any key grants full API access, so it is better to issue a dedicated key with a clear name for Reportkey that can be revoked without affecting other integrations. You will also need the ad account ID.

Everything is entered once on the integrations page. The account is then picked in a project, followed by blocks and schedule. If the key is revoked, the connection is flagged for re-authorization.

Budget and reach of display campaigns

The summary block shows campaign results for the period by day, week or month:

  • Spend in rubles and spend in bonuses on two lines.
  • Impressions as the reach bought by campaigns.
  • Clicks and CTR showing how much interest creatives generate.
  • CPC and CPM for cost per click and per thousand impressions.
  • Previous-period comparison for every figure.

For a display campaign, CPM and the impressions trend matter more than clicks: the client wants to see reach bought at the expected price and spread evenly across the flight.

Campaigns and ad groups

Inside a campaign, Avito Ads splits placements into groups by targeting, category or format. The campaign and group table lists spend, impressions, clicks, CTR, CPC and CPM per group, so the specialist sees which targeting buys reach cheaper and the client sees where most of the budget goes.

Creative performance and video view-through

The third block covers creatives. Each banner or video shows impressions, clicks, CTR and spend, and video adds VTR, the share of completed views. High CTR with low VTR means the first frame hooks people but the message does not land; low CTR with good VTR means people watch but the call to action fails. Both patterns sit in one table row.

What the Avito Ads API leaves out

The API returns media and click metrics but no conversions or sales, so ROMI and cost per lead cannot be calculated from it. Post-click behavior comes from website goals in Yandex Metrica or calls through Calltouch. API calls use a weekly points budget shared by all of the account’s keys, so Reportkey loads data in large windows.

Compare Avito display with the client’s other advertising for the same period: Yandex Direct campaigns and VK Ads. See the context agency demo report, other platforms on the marketplaces and classifieds page, and trial terms on the pricing page.

Use cases

Why teams connect Avito Ads to Reportkey

Real reporting jobs, typical pain points, and the outcomes teams get from Avito Ads in client reports.

Pain points
  • Display campaigns on Avito run alongside Yandex Direct and VK Ads, yet their statistics are copied from a separate dashboard every time.
  • Avito Ads splits spend into money and bonuses, and a summary sheet sometimes adds them up and sometimes does not, so CPM shifts from report to report.
  • A campaign has a dozen creatives, and nobody compares which banner or video actually gets clicks until the flight is over.

A media agency with flights on Avito

Each week the client sees spend, impressions, CPM and CTR of Avito Ads campaigns next to display activity in other systems. The creative table shows which banners work and which should be replaced before the flight ends.

Avito Ads
A brand promoting a new model on Avito

A marketer launches a video campaign in the auto or real estate category and gets impressions, clicks and the view-through rate in the report. The previous-period comparison shows how reach developed week by week.

Avito Ads
An agency handling both listings and display

One client report has two blocks: seller listings from Avito Pro and Avito Ads campaigns. The client sees how many contacts listings produced and how much reach the banners bought.
