Zadarma call report: extensions, missed calls and costs

Reportkey reads Zadarma PBX statistics and call billing through the API and builds a report section from them: answered and missed calls by extension, talk minutes, telephony costs and callback widget requests.

Sign up, add the Key and Secret from Zadarma API settings and pick the account in a project. Your first report in 5 minutes.
  • The Key and Secret from Zadarma API settings are entered once and work across projects.
  • Answered and missed calls per extension, talk minutes and telephony spend.
  • Zadarma telephony shares a report with Yandex Direct and Metrica, plus AI insights and branding (not on every plan).

TL;DR

Zadarma integration: the Key and Secret pair from Settings, API is entered once, the account is picked in a project, and PBX calls, missed calls per employee, telephony spend and the callback widget funnel reach the client in a scheduled report.

Zadarma call report for clients

Teams choose the Zadarma virtual PBX because it is quick to set up: extensions, forwarding, call recording and a callback widget can all be configured in an evening. Reporting on it is harder. Call statistics, billing and the widget live in different parts of the dashboard, so answering “how many calls did we lose and what did we pay for telephony” means opening three pages. Reportkey reads this data through the API and assembles it into one section of a recurring report sent as a link or PDF.

Connecting Zadarma with keys from Settings, API

Access requires a Key and Secret pair generated in the Zadarma dashboard. Every API request is signed with the secret, so the Secret itself is never sent in plain form. In Reportkey the keys are entered once on the integrations page and become a shared connection available in any project; an agency with several Zadarma clients keeps one connection per client. If the keys are revoked, the connection is flagged for re-authorization while project settings stay in place.

Answered and missed cloud PBX calls

PBX statistics return every call with its outcome: answered, busy or no answer. The main block is built from these fields:

  • Inbound and outbound calls by day, week or month.
  • Answered and missed calls as counts and as the missed share of inbound.
  • Talk duration as total minutes and the average answered call length.
  • Previous-period comparison for every figure.

A busy signal is a failure from the caller’s point of view too, so the report counts it as missed rather than leaving it between categories.

Calls by extension: who answers and who misses

Each call is tied to an extension, and an extension usually belongs to a specific manager or department. The extension table shows how many calls each one answered, how many were missed and how many minutes were spent talking. Several offices or lines appear in a single table, which replaces the monthly export and spreadsheet sorting.

Telephony costs inside a marketing report

Zadarma billing returns the destination, billed seconds and amount for every paid connection. The report turns that into telephony spend for the period and a split by destination: mobile, landline, long distance. For a company with heavy outbound calling this is a real cost line worth seeing next to the ad budget.

The Zadarma callback widget from show to request

When a callback widget runs on the website, the API returns its statistics: visits to pages with the widget, widget shows, call requests and dismissals. The show-to-request funnel tells an agency whether the widget helps collect inquiries or mostly annoys visitors.

API limits and what statistics leave out

The two Zadarma logs must not be summed, and calls carry no ad source; for channel attribution add Calltouch or UIS. The API returns at most a month per request and only a few requests per minute, so a year of history loads gradually.

The PBX block usually follows Yandex Direct campaigns and website goals in Yandex Metrica. Agencies with clients on other systems can compare it with the Sipuni call log or Novofon calls. See a finished document in the in-house team demo report, all telephony sources on the calls and CRM page, and terms on the pricing page.

Use cases

Why teams connect Zadarma to Reportkey

Real reporting jobs, typical pain points, and the outcomes teams get from Zadarma in client reports.

Pain points
  • Every month the Zadarma PBX admin exports statistics by extension and works out by hand which manager missed the most calls.
  • The phone bill arrives separately, so the marketing report never shows what outbound sales calls actually cost.
  • A callback widget runs on the website, yet only whoever logs into Zadarma knows how many visitors used it.
Zadarma
A sales team doing outbound calling

One block shows inbound and outbound calls per extension, talk minutes and the weekly telephony bill. The head of sales sees who actually calls prospects and what that calling costs.

Zadarma
An agency responsible for website inquiries

Next to ads and Metrica the report includes the Zadarma callback widget funnel: page visits, widget shows and call requests. The client sees what share of inquiries the widget brings, not only forms.

Zadarma
A small company with several offices

Extensions from different offices land in one table, and the owner compares within a minute where calls go unanswered and where conversations run longer, without access to PBX settings.

How to connect

Three steps to the first report

Connect the account once, choose the reporting scope, and save the setup for recurring client reports.

01
Connect the account
Save the Zadarma connection once so the same datasource can be reused across recurring client reports.
02
Choose the reporting scope
Choose the Zadarma account and phone numbers that should supply calls and call sources to the report.
03
Save the setup and generate the report
Keep the selected scope in the project and reuse the same report setup next time instead of connecting the source again.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Short answers about how the integration works in Reportkey today.

What do I need to connect Zadarma to Reportkey?
An API key pair, Key and Secret, created in the Zadarma dashboard under Settings, API. Enter them once on the Reportkey integrations page and select the account in the project you need. No permission to change PBX settings is required because the report only reads statistics.
Why don't PBX call counts match billing?
Zadarma keeps two separate logs. PBX statistics describe calls to extensions, while billing lists paid connections to carriers. One conversation can appear in both, and free internal calls only appear in the first. The report shows the logs separately and never adds them up.
Can I see which ad produced a call?
PBX statistics return the caller number, extension, direction, call outcome and duration, but no ad channel. The report covers call handling and telephony costs. For channels and campaigns, add call tracking or use separate numbers per channel.
How fresh is the data, and why does a long period take longer to load?
Data is fetched when the report is built. The Zadarma API serves statistics in windows of up to one month and allows only a few statistics requests per minute, so a quarter or a year is collected in parts. Weekly and monthly reports are unaffected; only the first load of a long history takes more time.
Which currency are telephony costs shown in?
The currency Zadarma bills the account in: billing returns an amount and a currency code per call. Reportkey shows the amount in the account currency without exchange-rate conversion.
