  • Order statuses appear under the names configured in your store.
  • Sales by vendor and storefront for Multi-Vendor installations.
  • A separate view-only administrator can hold the API key.

TL;DR

CS-Cart integration: the store address, an administrator's email and API key are entered once, the store is picked in a project, and orders, statuses, top products and Multi-Vendor sales by vendor go into a scheduled report.

CS-Cart sales report for owners

CS-Cart is self-hosted software: the store is installed on the client’s server, and the code and database belong to the client. It is chosen by companies that need deep customisation and by marketplace operators, who use the Multi-Vendor edition. Such stores usually have a development contractor and an advertising contractor, while the owner wants the result in one place.

Reportkey connects to the store API, collects orders and builds a block of a recurring report, placed next to ad campaigns and website analytics and delivered on schedule as a link or PDF.

CS-Cart store analytics: orders and average order value

The top block shows store performance for the period:

  • Orders — count by day, week or month.
  • Order amount — what the buyer pays, including shipping.
  • Average order value — amount divided by order count.
  • Previous-period comparison next to each number.

The detailed order also holds the product subtotal, discount, shipping cost and applied promotions, which help explain why average order value grew.

CS-Cart order statuses

A CS-Cart status is a letter code. In the default setup P means paid, C completed, O open and I cancelled, but a store can rename them or add its own for logistics or invoice payment. Reportkey therefore does not guess what codes mean: they are mapped to paid, completed and cancelled when connecting and displayed under the store’s own names. The status block shows count, amount and cancellation share, the first metric people check when discussing traffic quality.

CS-Cart Multi-Vendor: reporting by vendor

In the marketplace edition every order belongs to a company, either a vendor or a storefront. For the operator this is the key breakdown: which vendors bring most orders, who is growing, who stopped selling. The vendor block shows orders and amount per vendor with a previous-period comparison; for installations with several brand storefronts the same breakdown shows each storefront’s contribution.

Exporting CS-Cart orders: top products

Order lines with product, quantity and price become a product ranking for the period with units and amount, a hint for shopping campaigns and for categories that carry the marketplace.

How CS-Cart API access works

Access belongs to a specific administrator: the API tab is enabled in their profile and a key is created. Requests are signed with that administrator’s email and key, and the key inherits the user group’s rights. If the key is disabled or the administrator removed, the Reportkey connection is flagged for re-authorisation and project settings stay intact.

CS-Cart data specifics

  • The store defines its statuses; without mapping, a paid order cannot be identified.
  • Order amount is not money received.
  • A standard order stores no traffic source.
  • Load speed depends on the server hosting the store; there is no platform quota.

CS-Cart next to ads and analytics

Show both cost and result by adding Yandex Direct and VK Ads, plus ecommerce data from Yandex Metrica or Google Analytics 4. To tie orders to campaigns, add Roistat end-to-end analytics; stock and purchasing can come from MoySklad. An agency logo, automatic sending and AI insights are not on every plan. A finished in-house document is in the demo report, other store platforms and payment services are under ecommerce integrations, and the 14-day trial is on pricing.

Use cases

Why teams connect CS-Cart to Reportkey

Real reporting jobs, typical pain points, and the outcomes teams get from CS-Cart in client reports.

Pain points
  • CS-Cart admin statistics are built for store operators, while the owner needs a short document with trends and comparisons.
  • A Multi-Vendor marketplace owner cannot see without an export which vendors are growing and which stopped getting orders.
  • Order statuses follow the company's own processes, and a generic report template counts the wrong orders as paid.
CS-Cart
Multi-Vendor marketplace operator

Dozens of vendors sell on the platform. The monthly report shows orders and amount per vendor, the cancellation share and overall marketplace trends, while the ads block shows what acquiring buyers cost.

CS-Cart
Integration agency supporting a store

The agency develops the store and runs ads. Every week the client gets orders, average order value, top products and Yandex Direct campaigns without anyone exporting from the admin.

CS-Cart
Company with several storefronts

One CS-Cart installation serves storefronts for different brands. The storefront breakdown shows which one brings most revenue and which needs attention.

How to connect

Three steps to the first report

Connect the account once, choose the reporting scope, and save the setup for recurring client reports.

01
Connect the account
Save the CS-Cart connection once so the same datasource can be reused across recurring client reports.
02
Choose the reporting scope
Choose the CS-Cart store or site that should supply orders, payments, or leads to the report.
03
Save the setup and generate the report
Keep the selected scope in the project and reuse the same report setup next time instead of connecting the source again.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Short answers about how the integration works in Reportkey today.

What do I need to connect CS-Cart?
The store address, an administrator's email and an API key. The key is enabled in the admin under the administrators list, on the API access tab of the chosen administrator. Key permissions follow the user group, so a separate administrator allowed only to view orders is the safer choice.
How does Reportkey know which orders are paid if our statuses are custom?
CS-Cart statuses are letter codes that a store can rename or extend. When connecting, statuses are mapped to paid, completed and cancelled, and the report shows them under the names configured in your store.
Is the order amount money received?
No. The order amount is what the buyer has to pay, including shipping and after discounts. Money may arrive later or not at all, so paid and cancelled orders are shown separately and financial reconciliation stays with the accounting system.
How fast does data load and how fresh is it?
Orders are requested on every report build. CS-Cart runs on the client's hosting, so API speed depends on the store server: on weak hosting a large store's month loads more slowly, but every order up to build time is included.
Does the report show the traffic source of an order?
A standard CS-Cart order does not store the acquisition channel. Traffic sources come from the neighbouring blocks: ecommerce data in Yandex Metrica or Google Analytics 4 and the ad accounts.
