Sales report for an InSales store
Reportkey takes orders from an InSales store, with amounts, payment status, line items and first-visit source, and builds a report section where sales sit next to the advertising that drove them.
- Placed order total and paid order total shown as two separate metrics.
- Average order value compared with the previous period, no manual formulas.
- Top products from order lines with units and amount per product.

InSales integration: the store connects through the Reportkey app installed from the InSales admin, the store is picked in a project, and orders, paid orders, average order value and top products reach the client in a scheduled report.
InSales sales report for store owners
InSales is a hosted ecommerce platform popular with Russian online stores: catalogue, cart, payment, delivery and a back office for order processing. For the owner of such a store, a contractor’s report only makes sense when it contains orders: how many were placed, how many were paid and how much money the month brought.
Reportkey receives orders from the InSales API and turns them into a block of a recurring report. Ad campaigns and website analytics sit in the same document, which reaches the client on schedule as a link or PDF.
InSales store analytics: orders and average order value
The main block is built by order creation date:
- Orders — orders placed per day, week or month.
- Order amount — the full value including delivery from the total_price field; item subtotal and delivery cost are available separately.
- Average order value — order amount divided by the number of orders.
- Change versus the previous period next to every number.
For a store with free delivery above a threshold, watching average order value together with the item subtotal shows whether buyers stretch to the threshold.
Paid InSales orders
Orders and payments are separate events in InSales. A buyer can place an order and leave the payment page, choose cash on delivery or request an invoice. Payment status is stored in financial_status and the payment moment in its own date field. The paid orders block is dated by payment and shows count, amount and share of placed orders. A falling paid share with steady order flow points to the checkout or to order confirmation by managers.
Exporting InSales orders: top products
Each order contains line items with product, variant, quantity and price. Reportkey builds a product ranking for the period: units sold and amount. For the agency this suggests which items to push in shopping campaigns; for the owner it shows which products carry the month and whether last period’s leader ran out of stock.
First-visit source in InSales orders
InSales can store the first visit’s source, referrer and domain in the order. When the store records them, the report shows orders and amount by these values. Read the table with care: it is the first touch, not attribution. For revenue by channel, ecommerce tracking in Yandex Metrica or end-to-end analytics is more reliable, with the InSales block acting as a control total of real orders.
InSales API data limits
- An order is not a payment; placed and paid totals are shown separately.
- Cancelled orders are excluded; partial refunds are not broken out.
- The quota is 500 requests per five minutes per store, so large stores load in pages of 250 orders.
InSales next to ads and marketplaces
Add Yandex Direct campaigns, VK Ads and ecommerce data from Yandex Metrica or Google Analytics 4. If the store also sells on a marketplace, place the Ozon Seller orders block alongside; if orders are processed in an external system, add RetailCRM orders. Your logo, scheduled delivery and AI insights are available, though not on every plan. The in-house team demo report shows a multi-channel example, other store platforms are listed under ecommerce integrations, and the 14-day trial terms are on pricing.

Why teams connect InSales to Reportkey
Real reporting jobs, typical pain points, and the outcomes teams get from InSales in client reports.
- The agency report stops at Yandex Metrica transactions while the store owner opens the InSales back office and sees different orders and totals.
- Every month someone exports orders to a file, removes cancelled ones and counts how many were actually paid.
- Average order value and best sellers are discussed from memory because nobody saved last month's figures.
The monthly report places an InSales orders block next to Yandex Direct and VK Ads spend: orders placed, orders paid and average order value. The client sees whether traffic growth matched sales growth.
Instead of opening the back office every day, a Monday email shows weekly orders and payments, the paid share and the five products that brought the most money.
The report shows two blocks side by side, website orders from InSales and store orders on the marketplace, so it is clear where demand is moving.
How InSales appears inside the report
The report keeps the familiar Reportkey layout: source sections and period comparison.

Weekly order bars, a paid order amount line, an average order value tile with change versus last month and a table of the five best-selling products.
Three steps to the first report
Connect the account once, choose the reporting scope, and save the setup for recurring client reports.
